How does Jym work?
It’s simple. Use any part of your body to push or pull on any of Jym’s handles and the
exact resistance and muscle strength is displayed, making
it easy to isolate and exercise specific areas.
You build a workout around your own ability from low-impact exercise which will strengthen
and tone muscles and joints,
through to cardio conditioning. And as you choose your own exercise level it will make it
a lot safer than traditional weight
regimes and confusing exercise equipment.
All you do is GRIP, PULL or PRESS
Jym displays your force on its large screen making it an easy and fun way to track your
progress. As well as this Jym can
display and record 5 different modes to help you stay motivated to reach your personal
fitness goals.
Present Force keeps track of the force or muscle
strength you achieve when using Jym by allowing the user
to set a force target. When the present force target is reached Jym will alert the user by
flashing and/or beeping. Use this
mode to monitor your fitness and increases in muscle strength and for quick workouts.
Grips/Total Count keeps track of the amount of times you
apply force or muscle strength to Jym. It allows the
user to set a target of the total number of repetitions they would like to achieve. Use
this mode to count the number of
grips you are performing throughout a routine.
Accumulated Force keeps track of the total force you
achieve for the whole exercise workout.
Jym will tally each force applied until you reach the target you set. Use this mode as
part of your daily routine to easily
monitor your fitness progress.
Tip: To make the most of this mode you can also calculate
your average force to see how you
are improving. Divide the Accumulated force of your workout with the number of grips shown
at the top of the screen - this
will give you your average force during your routine.
Timer allows the user to workout for a specified time.
Jym will start counting down after
the first force is registered and will alert the user once it reaches zero. Use this mode
to time your workout routines.
Hold Mode allows the user to set a force and time target.
Jym will start to countdown when
you reach or exceed the set force target. The timer will only continue to countdown if the
target force is reached and
maintained. Use this mode to build endurance in muscles and joints.
Whether in the gym, at home or even from a wheelchair by
using Jym
you can
improve your quality of life, look great and feel amazing.
